- Your rights
2.1 Right of access to your personal data
If you have any questions about the personal data we process, you have the right to access all personal information we hold about you. The provision of such information will be subject to the provision of appropriate proof of your identity (for this purpose, we will usually accept a photocopy of your passport certified by a solicitor or bank plus an original copy of a utility bill showing your current address). We may refuse to provide personal information you request to the extent permitted by law.
2.2 Right to correct or delete your personal information
In the event that the personal data we hold about you is incorrect, you have the right to request that we correct or delete the personal data Intura holds about you. Please send us a request using the contact details above.
2.3 Use of your personal data for marketing/sales-related correspondence
You may instruct us at any time not to process your personal data for marketing/sales-related correspondence. In practice, you will usually either explicitly agree in advance to the use of your personal data for these purposes, or we will offer you the opportunity to opt out of the use of your personal data for marketing purposes. To do so, you can use the 'unsubscribe' hyperlink in marketing/sales correspondence. You can also send us a request using the contact details above.
- Personal data we process
We may maintain personal data depending on your relationship(s) with Intura. Below, we describe the types of relationship(s) you may have with Intura and how we maintain personal data for each type of relationship.
3.1 Via electronic newsletters
You can subscribe to one or more of our electronic newsletters via our website. We will always ask for an 'opt-in', which means that you explicitly give your consent to be contacted via newsletters. You can unsubscribe from electronic newsletters at any time by clicking on the 'Unsubscribe' link provided in each newsletter. Once you have unsubscribed from our newsletter, your personal data will be removed from our records.
3.2 As a commercial relationship
Intura's marketing and sales teams strive to build good relationships with (a) customer contacts and (b) contacts from organisations that are not (yet) customers. In most cases, building commercial relationships requires the exchange of personal (contact) information. For example, during a marketing/sales activity or campaign, a meeting with Intura, at a trade fair, exhibition or symposium, or through direct contacts established by an Intura employee. The provision of personal data in this context is always voluntary. Personal data that you have provided in this context is stored in our Customer Relationship Management system and will be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which you provided it, unless you have informed us that you wish to remain informed about our solutions and activities.
3.3 As a customer
Intura is active in the B2B market. This means that Intura sells its solutions, products and services to organisations. If you purchase our solutions, products and/or services directly from Intura, you become a customer. In this case, you will be registered as a customer in our information systems. This registration includes the personal contact details of one or more contact persons of the customer. This personal data will be updated or deleted if you are no longer a customer of Intura and/or if there is a change in the contact person of your organisation.
3.4 As a supplier/business partner/other business relationship
Intura maintains relationships with suppliers of raw materials, components, and commercial goods, as well as with business partners and other organisations (such as accountancy, payroll, and IT service providers). For these relationships, it is necessary to register the personal contact details of one or more contact persons. This personal data will be updated or deleted if the organisation is no longer a relationship of Intura and/or if there is a change in the contact person of that organisation.
3.5 As a participant in a training/visit showroom
As a training participant or visitor to our showroom, in some cases it is necessary for you to provide your personal (contact) details. This is on a voluntary basis only. We may use this information to contact you for evaluation purposes or to send you additional information if you have requested it. Personal data provided in this context will be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which you provided it, unless you have informed us that you wish to remain informed about our solutions and activities.
3.6 Requests
If you contact Intura with enquiries, for example about our solutions, products or services, we will not record your personal data unless we contact you for additional support or enquiries. If this is the case, we will delete your personal data as soon as you have received a response. This includes enquiries made by telephone, e-mail and the local 'Ask your question' form on our website.
3.7 When visiting our website
We collect usage statistics from every person who visits our website, including IP address (anonymised, only traceable to a geographical area and not to a specific person/connection), geographical location and visit statistics (including visit duration and page views). We use these statistics to improve our website, solutions or services. See also 7, Cookie and Tracking Policy.
3.8 When visiting our company
Our building and surroundings (car park) may be secured with CCTV (camera). You will be notified of this as soon as you enter our premises. CCTV data is only stored for security purposes, for a maximum of 72 hours, unless there is a reason to store this data for longer (e.g. for a police investigation).
- Retention of personal data
In any of the above relationships, we will not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary for that purpose or purposes. However, we do retain documents (including electronic documents) containing personal data:
- (a) to the extent that we are legally obliged to do so;
- (b) if we believe that the documents may be relevant to ongoing or future legal proceedings;
- (c) to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purpose of preventing fraud and reducing credit risk).
- Sharing personal data
In all of the relationships described above, we will only use your personal data for that relationship. We never sell, trade or rent your personal data to others outside Intura without your consent or without one of the situations described below.
5.1 Sharing personal data
Intura will not share personal data with third parties unless this is under our control and under strict conditions. In the event that we need a third party to access your information, we will ensure that this third party acts in accordance with this privacy policy and that a confidentiality agreement has been signed with this third party. Examples of third parties in this context include business partners, market research agencies, HR service providers and consulting firms.
5.2 Third parties processing personal data under our control
Intura uses third parties such as service providers (e.g. payroll), external hosting providers or Software as a Service (SaaS) providers that process personal data under our control. In the event that a third party processes personal data under our control, Intura will ensure that a Data Processing Agreement (as described in the GDPR) is in place.
- Securing personal data
We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, and against all other forms of unlawful processing. We also require our data processors to implement such appropriate technical and organisational measures. In the unlikely event of a (suspected) personal data breach, we will notify you and the appropriate data protection authority within 72 hours of discovery, in accordance with the rules set out in the GDPR.

In this section, you will find information about which cookies may be set when you visit the site and how you can refuse or delete these cookies. By continuing to use this website, you agree to our use of cookies in the manner described in this policy.
7.1 What are cookies?
A cookie is a small data file that is placed on your computer or other device so that a website can recognise you as a user when you return to the website using the same computer and web browser, either for the duration of your visit (using a 'session cookie') or for repeat visits (a 'persistent cookie'). Other similar files work in the same way, and we use the word 'cookie' in this policy to refer to all files that collect information in this way.
Cookies are an extremely common technology for remembering certain information about a website visitor. The vast majority of websites currently use cookies, and they are often used for a wide range of tasks. We use the following cookies:
- a) Strictly necessary cookies: if necessary for the operation of the website;

- c) Functionality cookies: to recognise you when you return to the site so that the content can be personalised for you, for example by remembering your country and site preferences; and
- d) Targeting cookies: to record your visit to the site and the pages you have visited and links you have followed. We will use this to make the site more relevant to your interests.
7.2 How to manage and delete cookies
When you entered the site, you received a message informing you of our use of cookies. We had to use a cookie to present you with that notification (you can view the details of this cookie under 'Cookie acceptance' in the table below). By continuing to use the site and/or by accepting our terms and conditions and privacy policy, you consent to the use of such cookies and tracking technology.
We will not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information about you. However, if you wish to restrict or block the cookies set by this site (or, indeed, any other site), you can do so through your browser settings. The "Help" function in your browser should tell you how.
