Intura ready for new insulation standards

From the end of November 2015, new requirements will also apply to the insulation values of floors, facades, roofs and window frames during renovation, as has already been the case for new buildings since 2014. For skylights, a minimum Uw value of 2.2 W/m2K applies immediately for renovations, while for new buildings an average value of Uw=1.65 W/m2K applies for the transparent parts, with a minimum of 2.2 W/m2K for the individual parts. The urgent amendment to the Building Regulations follows instructions from the European Commission. The Netherlands did not correctly transpose certain European directives into the 2012 Building Regulations. All Intura skylights comply fully with current and new legislation.
