Optionally, you can choose to order the EcoPower insulation element. We recommend this element with HR++ glass (filled with argon gas) or triple glass HR+++ if the roof is well insulated. Think of rooms such as a living room, bathroom, bedroom or other living space. 

The EcoPower insulation element is equipped with 14 cm Unilin PIR (Rd insulation value 6.30) and the glazing has a Ug value of 0.6 W/m²K for triple glazing HR+++ and 1.1 W/m²K for double glazing HR++. This means that the EcoPower insulation element is also soundproof. This element also prevents condensation problems thanks to the double or triple glazing. This means that cold air is less likely to escape in winter and heat is better retained in summer. 

The insulation element is 14 cm thick with a 10 cm pipe section on both sides. A basic set is sufficient for a roof thickness of 41 cm, with the insulation element this can be up to 65 cm. Extra length can be solved with an extra mirror pipe (60 cm length per piece and can be cut to length yourself). 

This extension will be mounted under the roof upstand (part C1) and above the diffuser ring with socket tube (part A2).
