Which payment methods can I use?
You can pay in the Intura webshop with iDEAL, Bancontact, Klarna, Mastercard and Visa. The options available for your order are shown during checkout.
Do the prices include VAT?
The webshop displays consumer prices including 21% VAT by default. At the top of the webshop, you can choose whether prices are displayed including or excluding VAT.
What is the difference between a roof opening size, daylight opening size and external frame size?
These dimensions describe different parts of a product and are not interchangeable:
- Roof opening size: the size of the opening required in the roof structure. This dimension is commonly used for flat roof windows. The product's total external dimensions may be larger than the roof opening.
- Daylight opening size: the clear internal opening through which daylight enters. For domes and renovation modules, this is often the dimension used to select the product or connection. It is not the same as the external dimensions of the dome, upstand or renovation module.
- External frame size: the overall dimensions of the frame or structure, measured from outside edge to outside edge. This dimension is used for products including timber rooflights and roof windows for pitched roofs. The required opening and installation allowance may differ.
Before ordering, always check which dimension is stated on the product page and use the technical drawing for the exact model. Never create a roof opening using only the commercial size description.
What is the delivery time for my order?
Delivery time varies by product. Many standard products are kept in stock; the delivery time shown on the product page is an average indication. For stock products, you will normally receive information about the delivery date within two working days after ordering and payment.
Will my order be delivered free of charge?
Roof windows, domes and flat roof windows with an order value above €175 are delivered free of charge within the Netherlands, excluding the Wadden Islands. A delivery surcharge applies to Belgium. Any different shipping costs are shown before you complete the order.
Do I need to be present for delivery?
Yes. Someone must be present to receive and inspect the order and sign for receipt. Large products are generally delivered on a pallet; the delivery address must be accessible to the lorry and unloading equipment. Delivery is to ground-floor level.
Can I return my order as a consumer?
Under the current return conditions, consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of receipt. Contact Intura in writing before returning an item. The product must be unused and returned in its original, undamaged packaging. Return shipping is at your own expense. The amount will be credited within 14 days after the undamaged return has been received.
Which products cannot be returned?
Bespoke products and items specially ordered rather than supplied from stock cannot be returned. The same applies if the original packaging is missing or damaged. Business purchases do not have a statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period.
What should I do if an item is damaged in transit or incorrect?
Inspect the order immediately on delivery and record visible damage before signing for receipt. Do not process or install the product. Report the issue to Intura as soon as possible and include the order details together with clear overview and detail photographs.
What warranty applies to Intura products?
Many roof windows and flat roof windows have a 10-year product warranty unless stated otherwise. Different periods and conditions may apply to glazing, electrical components, moving parts and accessories. Always check the product page and current warranty conditions for the exact product.
Can I collect my order?
Yes. Subject to stock availability, an order that has been placed and paid for online can be collected by appointment from the Intura warehouse in Nijkerk. Always wait for confirmation that the order is ready.
