PGX A1: high-quality daylight for flat roofs.
The fixed Intura PGX A1 combines plenty of natural light with HR++ safety glass, an insulated flashing and a sleek, minimalist design. A solid foundation for an extension, kitchen-diner, bathroom or workspace.
For renovation, refurbishment, new-build and professional projects.

The solid foundation
Plenty of daylight, without unnecessary technology.
The PGX A1 is a fixed flat roof window. It has no motor, hinges or other moving parts. As a result, the focus is entirely on daylight, insulation and a low-maintenance finish.
This model is particularly suited to spaces where ventilation is already provided via windows, grilles or a mechanical system. Think of an extension, living room, hall, bathroom, home office or any other space under a flat roof.
- Flat, modern glass surface
- Low-maintenance white plastic frame
- Insulated, foam-filled upstand
- HR++ safety glass
- For roof pitches of approximately 2–15°
- Many sizes available for quick delivery
At a glance
Why the PGX A1 is such a popular choice.
Light deep into the room
Daylight from above reaches the far end of an extension or open-plan kitchen more effectively than a wall-mounted window alone.
Good thermal performance
HR++ glazing and the insulated reveal together form a complete system with a U-value of 0.99 W/m²K.
A calm, sleek appearance
The flat glass blends discreetly into the roof and creates a sleek, light finish on the inside.
No painting required
The white plastic frame does not absorb moisture and does not need to be painted.
From a dome to flat glass
How does this differ from a traditional dome?
A traditional dome usually consists of one or more domed plastic shells. The PGX A1 uses flat HR++ safety glass. This gives the roof a different appearance and provides a clear, high-quality light opening.
During renovation, replacing it with a fully flat roof window can improve thermal comfort and the building’s appearance. However, always check that the existing roof opening, structure and roofing are compatible with the new dimensions.

Insulation and living comfort
Consider both the glass and the complete system.
The Ug value describes only the insulation of the glass. The Uw value takes into account the entire flat roof window, including the glass, frame and flashing. For the PGX A1, the Ug value is 1.0 W/m²K and the Uw value is 0.99 W/m²K.
A low U-value means that less heat is lost through the component. Proper installation remains important here: interrupted insulation or an air leak around the flashings can reduce the product’s performance in practice.
15 standard sizes
Choosing the right size depends on the room and the roof structure.
Don’t choose based solely on the number of square metres. The depth of the room, ceiling height, position of the window, direction of the beams and desired light distribution also determine which size will work best.
Compact space
A smaller square or rectangular window can provide targeted natural light for a hall, bathroom, utility room or workspace.
Extension or open-plan kitchen
A larger glass surface brings light further into the space. Align the position with the kitchen island, the dining table and the transition to the existing home.
Long room
Two smaller windows can sometimes provide more even lighting than a single large window. Always check the supporting structure in this case.

Preparation and installation
Only cut the roof opening after checking the technical drawing.
Product dimensions, external dimensions, visible dimensions and opening dimensions are not always the same. You should therefore check the chosen model and size before modifying the roof structure.
- Check the joist layer and supporting structure
- Ensure the specified slope is achieved
- Ensure a watertight connection with bitumen, EPDM or PVC
- Ensure the insulation continues all the way round
- Finish the interior to be airtight
- Follow the model-specific instructions
